This year LTK Oboe Camp has a new location. It will be held at Wando High School in Charleston South Carolina. It is located in the band wing of the school which is 1000 Warrior Way, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. Directly off Highway 17. Immediately past Roper Hospital.

The mission of the camp is:

• to give each student an introduction to reed-making, or enhance their already existing skills
• to have students learn a piece of chamber music and perform it at a student recital at the end of the camp
• to better student sight reading skills
• to learn to play in a more efficient and relaxed manner
• to introduce students to the upcoming year's All State requirements, and to enable them to meet their fellow oboists and some fabulous teachers!

Out of town campers will be housed with host families whenever possible. You may also consult us for hotel suggestions.

There are several after camp activities planned that the students may participate in such as mini golf. These activities must be paid for by the students themselves.

Also worth noting is that students must bring a daily bag lunch
