LTK OBOE CAMP

This year LTK Oboe Camp has a new location. It will be held at Fort Mill High School. The entrance to the band room is off of Highway 21. You will see the band trucks on the right and the track. The band wing is just before you reach the auditorium on the left

The mission of the camp is:

  • to give each student an introduction to reed-making, or enhance their already existing skills
  • to have students learn a piece of chamber music and perform it at a student recital at the end of the camp
  • to better student sight reading skills
  • to learn to play in a more efficient and relaxed manner
  • to introduce students to the upcoming year's All State requirements, and to enable them to meet their fellow oboists and some fabulous teachers!

Out of town students have the option of being hosted by Fort Mill students and their families.

There are several after camp activities planned that the students may participate in such as a trip to Carrowinds amusement park and mini golf. These activities must be paid for by the students themselves.

Also worth noting is that students must bring a daily bag lunch
